Stupid People who give 1's

I am new to this and my computer is real plain. I like to look at the pictures so I can get ideas (not enough pink ones, lol)

But what I dont understand is why do people give 1,2 or even 3 to nice computers? I think you should have to give your name to vote.

Yeah, but it's not just 1,2, and 3 on TPU, it's everywhere. I think people are either jealous, pissed when they're rating it, hate the owner, or just have horrible taste at computers. Mostly jealous I think

its because people simply don't like the case, I think...its a good thing cases can't be voted off TPU :laugh:

Well yeah that's true too lol, forgot about that factor. But I think we were talking about the nice cases that get bad ratings. Like the ALMOST 10.0 cases that are brought down to like 9.6 by some jealous asshole that gave it a 1. If it's a good case, like rated 9.6 overall or whatever, that's who I mean, the guys that give 9.6 cases a 1, 2, or 3 as a score on purpose.

Guys, GUYS, I'm talking about the GOOD cases that are otherwise 10 cases with people rating them a 1, 2, or 3. OBVIOUSLY that's not right. Now yeah, a crappy case deserves a crappy score, but I am talking about- AND ONLY ABOUT- the good cases that don't deserve bad ratings.

Solaris I saw your case and its fine, definately not a 1,2 or3..

AMDCam is right, I spent days working on rewiring the PS and routing airflow to keep it cool and noise free. Even with 7 fans you can barely hear my comp.

Everybody has their own level of abilities, and as comp lovers we should stick together and help and learn from each other.

Everything looks better with your own eye, so what they really are rating are the pictures that the modder supplied them. SO say we got a crazy case and stuff in it, but with say a 1 megapixil camera to take the picture its gonna look bad.

Some people just get jealous, it happens in everything. It's like people who just go around giving low ratings to everything and giving perfectly good Amazon reviews an 'Unhelpful' rating. If they give a one it's because they don't like their own case and want to take it out on people with the nice cases...

Lots of that goes on, on the net, no doubt about it - in areas of fact, where someone can absolutely point out flaws & such with facts though?

(That type of behavior is defendable & not "reprehensible" imo @ least, though... as long as folks stick to facts in their critique).

In an area like this though, purely based on personal preferences? It's like saying "tomatoes are terrible tasting" but others do not find them so... purely PERSONAL tastes/opinions, & these vary & rightfully so.

P.S.=> I think that here on these forums & others with HEAVILY "modded/hotrodded" cases & system internals, that sometimes you're going to see lower scores given... it's a "TOUGH CROWD" of contestants here, w/ some very "WILD" ideas for case designs! apk
