Sony is about six months away from their planned launch date for their new Playstation 3 console, and they aren't near finished. Currently, they aren't even close to fitting the PS3's guts into the planned case. They are still bidding on parts, and if you see a PS3 on display somewhere, its an empty case. I wouldn't expect it out this year.
