America is upset because it has to pay and avg of $2.78 per gallon, or .60 Euro cents per liter. Is this something worth making a big fuss about?

Not if you buy a gas efficient car. Its just those people who want to save money, I cant wait one day till we run on new fuel (different source).

I feel bad for our foreign brothers, having to pay so much for their gas. But here in USA we have been raised on cheap gas. When I was in Highschool gas was 69 cents a gallon. Our way of life has been very transient (our country is much vaster) so we were just used to going wherever we wanted.

I drive MUCH less now. I feel bad for the people who are slow to understand or unprepared for whats coming soon. Up and Up the prices will go till they start to replace our big cars with alternate fuels.

I wouldn't make a fuss about America being upset. Specially not about gas. Prices in the Netherlands are 2.5 times as high.

Maybe if the US Govt taxed the juice and brought you in line with the EU rates you could all get proper free health care huh...

Agree, we have also 1,20-1,30 euros per litre (sometimes even more). Luckily my family haven't had a car for over 10 years..

That is the thing, Europe. France, New Zealand, they all have public transportation which to own a car in those areas is luxury, thats why gas is so cheap, because everyone goes on the same transportation just about, buses, subway, ect.


But in Europe it is expensive, but you get more gas for the money, its called an Imperial gallon. Its just that some countrys all use cars...
