Bypass School Filters?

how do you bypass the school filters...i have tried a proxy but i can't access the connections tab to enter the Address and Port#. is there any other way to setup a Proxy...if not could you give me some other tips on how to bypass the filter??

What you do is set up a circumventor OR even better, set up remote desktop on your home computer so you can use your home computer when in school. Also, you can always goto circumvention websites but those get blocked fast so I would say to create your computer as your own personal circumventor or proxy, or remote desktop :)
