you could do what bikr is doing and sell a "to be built" system on ebay. THAT would make you money...if people go for it

Do you have a good record, good grades? Whats the status, what do you think you need to improve on. Improvement would be the key at the moment

Your rig looks fine to me. Try selling it off in pieces to upgrade to a cheap 939 based rig. :) I might be interested in the 9800. :p

Keep applying for those jobs. First impressions are important, make sure you where the nicest clothes you own. Make sure you aren't applying for jobs beyond you qualifications, places are often hesitant to hire people without any experience especially if you are under 18, even volunteer work can greatly sway them though, make sure they know if you have any volunteer experience.

It's hard to find a job as a high school student. Employers just don't want you because you have to devote so much time to school and don't have a flexible schedule. Don't let it get you down, just keep trying.

I have a spare Dell socket 478 motherboard. Doubt you would want that.

 Yea, they hire younger people like jobs like chicago dogs, all those things, because they know they can work harder then older people. Also keep up the good grades, shake hands NO GUM, god do we have to go to career prep all over again

Can't you work at the local supermarket? Most students here have crappy jobs like that.

apprantly the story is he got a socket 939 A64 3700+ from his parents as a gift, but they didnt pay attention to compatability

"Here put this in your PC!" - Drade's parents

problem is he doesnt have a socket 939 mobo, and on top of that doesnt have a PCIE Vcard. hes gonna have to come up with some real money to complete his rig based on the CPU.

yeah i wish. every time i apply i get one of their "Sorry we are not hiring at this time, we will contact you once a position opens" cards... even though they have a now hiring sign in the window, and a list of all available positions which i attempted to apply for. :shadedshu

When I was in High School/College I worked at the supermarket, drug store, ice cream store. Dont shoot too high when you have no experience. Trust me a supermarket is the easiest job to get. They usually hire anyone.

I had to apply twice to the place that I usually work during breaks, before they even interviewed me. Got to keep trying, don't expect them to come after you they can choose whoever they want, there is no shortage of underage workers with no experience :p .
