I'm planning to move my second PC (HP) to a new case, but on the back of the case, where the PS/2 , ethernet, USB, firewire, etc. go, the motherboard doesn't quite fit it exactly because it has 8 channel hi-definition audio and it has optical in/out. Will I be able to pop that out and use the one that came with the HP?

What do you mean if it's to normal specs?
I'm planning to get a case from my cousin who gets them for cheap and the one he's selling me is an ATX/microATX case. The HP that I have is a microATX 9.6inx9.6in.
The back of my HP has:
2 PS/2 ports
Digital Audio In/Out
VGA
Parallel Port
4 USB
1 FireWire
1 Ethernet
8 Channel Audio
So... I should be able to pop it out then, right?
Sorry that I'm so concerned, it's just that I have to drive 5 hours to California to get it and if it doesn't fit, then I have to go over there again to choose another case. Thanks again!

why dont you have the case shipped to you.... it would be way cheaper than driving to cali with gas at 3+ bucks now

I'm driving because my grandpa is going back to the Philippines, so I'm picking up a case on the way. Thanks again.
