 I have an ASUS A8R32-MVP motherboard, which detected by SysTool and recommended turn on LM78.dll and turn off UGuru.dll - I do this, but "LM78 not found".

says you have a LM63
2006-04-30 16:06:25 D LM63 temp chip detection: success (0x1)

So you shouldn't enable LM78... ??

Well, every other temp reporting app ive used detects it as LM78, and LM78 is the chip thats actually phisically on the motherboard...

you running more than one app? Maybe a conflict, uninstall and reinstall Systool .. W1zz added support in build 633... is AI Booster installed?

Tried that multiple times. Uninstalled all other monitoring apps, reinstalled systool, no luck.

ASUS PC Probe II is installed, i dont see how that could be causing problems as all the other monitoring apps ive tried see the cpu temps fine... the same apps that caused no compat issues with systool on my previous mobos.

Not to mention the fact that SysTool says to use the LM78 plugin with this mobo =p

I understand .. just I had an issue with SysTool not reading HDD temps as long as HDD thermometer was running... closed that app and SysTool would work... but since both of you have the issue one would assume it's detection issue that W1zz will have to work out...

Looks like it. I just checked something out, LM63 is the ATI X1900 temp sensing chip.

May be it will add some valuable information : CPU-Z reports on motherboard information section as "Sensor chip - ITE IT8712".

:) W1zzard ! If you need some additional information or some tracing - say what you need!

--------
For guys: This case is not a compatibility issue - I tried SysTool 622 in clean Windows install before reporting.

Oh! I downloaded EVEREST v2.80.563 Beta which have support of A8R32-MVP Deluxe, so now I prepare information and will send it to w1zzard@gmx.net

 And yes, EVEREST also mention sensor as "Sensor Type ITE IT8712F (ISA D00h)"

If I had read the whole thing instead of looking at one line ... could of determined that earlier ... thanks Mike ...

*sigh*

all this time, still having to use speedfan for cpu temps :(

did w1zz give up on systool or is he just sill v busy?
