Saphire x800 gto2

From what I hear the Saphire x800 gto2 has a 100% success rate when the bios is flashed to that of an x850 xt pe which will give all 16 pipes and the core and memory clocks of the x850 xt pe.

Is this information correct?

Okay, that forum just said that I can unlock to 16 pipes then overclock the card to the xt pe speeds. But can I flash the bios to unlock the 16 pipes, the x850 xt pe speeds and have the card be identified as an x850 xt pe?
