I recently came up to this article htttp://www.techpowerup.com/articles//overclocking/vidcard/34/1 and decided to try it out. I recently switched over to linux and the Ati drivers are a little less than horrible. Long story short, my video card isnt detecting my monitor anymore. It boots up fine but I cant seem to get the video card/monitor to work. The part I think I messed up on is "Download an ATI flashing utility and put it on this disk too", please not that I am using the cd iso's to flash my video card. Can anyone help me as to how to go about doing this? I also need directions as to what to press after/before the bios flash takes place (my mobo bios is set to boot from cd/dvd). My video card is an Asus 9200 SE. Any help will be greatly appreciated. :rockout:
Edit: O.K I know I didnt use the search function but I already did and it led me to some blind flashing thing which I have tried numerous times.
Luckily for me, when Linux boots up (automatically) I am able to use my monitor (im using it right now). Can anyone help me in flashing my video card back to factory setting, or to an overclocked state (275 clock, 225 memory) using linux???
