View Full Version : Replacement thermal RAM pads?

My Arctic X2 cooler doesn't cool the RAM as well as the stock cooler (but the X2 cools the GPU far better), and I think its because the RAM pads either aren't thick enough, or "squash" too easily therefore there isn't enough pressure on them.

Max RAM speeds for both coolers:

825Mhz stock cooling
783Mhz Arctic X2

Can you purchase replacement thermal pads from anywhere?

they are probably not touching all the ram chips properly.. just one not making proper contact will cause problems..

i aint sure where u can buy them thow..
