Well today i isntalled windows xp home on a new HDD but after install, i noticed that my HDD was only 130 gigs big (from 400g)and then i wen to disk management and i saw that half of my HDD was "system" and the other half was "unalocated drive" so then hoping at leats to fix it later i made it a new partition; now i want to have 1 huge partition not 2.
how can i do it ?

Sadly, there's no free program to do what you want to do :(. What you have to do is delete this second partition and then resize the first one. This can only be done through disk utilities, like this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E1681279691SF). Any partitioning software will do, I just think that this one will do the job you want it to the best. Hope this helps :D.

Yeah, but you have to be VERY CAREFUL in windows setup. You have to boot from the windows XP install disk, act like you're going to install windows, and then delete your old partition and create a new one. Make sure to create the new one so that it is NTFS, full speed, and has ALL your drive space.
Wait, PVTCaboose1337, does that format drives in FAT/FAT32/NTFS flavor?

No, all you have to do is make a cd, boot to it, delete the old partition (not used), and then resize the old windows one. Got it?
Also, go start / right click my computer / click manage, and then click disk management.
Take a screen shot and show us. That will give us some insight.

Daemon tools, bit torrent, BF2 ISOs! You are a bad boy!
Ok wait, resizing is simple, you can use that prog, the easiest way, or use the windows disk, but that would be alot harder because you could corrupt it. Use gparted.
