Well, Newegg had them in stock, and with the credit card in hand, I ordered an Athlon AM2 3800+ (single core) processor and MSI KN9 premium motherboard! So will tell you how it goes!

Am I the first to get the AM2 at TPU!? Its coming with UPS 2 day shipping!

I hope you realize that is a single-core. A Socket 939 dual core 3800 X2 costs less...

What heatsink did you get? A 939 heatsink wont work... (well the clip-on heatsinks work, but they suck)

But why are the 939 coolers bad on the AM2?

Well, as the unofficial tester, I will be sure to write some mini reviews. Also, do you think this new orleans core is very oc able.???.

Well, technically yes, it is in dallas as of tonite. But I cannot get it delivered till tuesday, memorial day and all. So, when it comes, it will be build on the weekend because of exams, but I will benchmark, overclock and many more things!
