Hi,

I've had a problem with my Radeon 9700 non-Pro 128MB. The image was full of blue and red
dots. After several 'experiments' I came to the conclusion that a part of the memory on the
card is not working properly. I flashed a 9500 non-Pro 64MB Bios on my card and the image
is ok now.

Therefore: Is it possible to generate a 9700np 64MB Bios?

Thanks for your help

I'va tested several Bioses and any 128MB Bios produces the display problems I've described. Any 64MB Bios works out ok, but because it is a 9500 Bios it is a lot slower than a 9700.

Get RaBit and edit your 9700 128 mb bios to 64 mb, and flash.

If it's a new card, I'd suggest returning it for a refund.
