I'm trying to devise a way to fit my old VF700CU on my northbridge. This solution can be permanent, but I'd rather it not be.
I dont know how I should go about fitting it on. Could somebody give me a tip or two to fit it onto my motherboard? see my sig for all tech info. :-)

Wouldn't that VF700-Cu take up a lot of space, being on the northbridge and all?

Probably, I'd most likely have to trim it. I'm trying to figure out how to mount it to the intel NB mount rings.

Glue, tape, staples, twine, and some crazy use of the mounting bracket?.

that may not be a bad idea to cut it there, but my NB is in the middle of the mobo, i dont think I'll have any reason to cut it, i'll check the fitting tomorrow to see how it goes
