Hey. When I run the BF2 demo, it just stops in the end and nothing happens. I have to ESC myself and then it will give me the result. Any idea on whats causing the problem? Also, is there a way to make it skip intro?
Thanks

Yes, skipping intro involves simply deleting the movies. Look in your BF2 folder... Also, just wait a bit for it to load, what are your specs.

I looked in my BF2 folder and didnt find the movies. Can you tell me the path? My specs are 3700 Sandy, Abit AN8-ULTRA, 1GB Mushkin, EVGA 7900GT KO.
I just benched again 2 different demos and let them sit for over 5 min each, and nothing happened....

Thanks. I already found that online :toast:
I am updating BF2 to 1.22 right now (heard 1.3 is buggy) may be that will solve the problem

Are you using a 1.3 demo ?
Bf2 cannot run 1.0 or 1.2 demos when it's patched to 1.3.

Are you sure.

I can test it here, but using the internal engine on previous patches usually lead to problems on demo rendering and performance.
Don't know if that is true on 1.3.
Please let me know if it runs.

To skip all the intro movies: in your shortcut put " +restart" after the filepath. No quotes, and include the space.
But he was asking where to find his demos I believe.
