Would this Zalman Fan/Adapter help drop my temps a little?
Here it is:
http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/view.asp?idx=15&code=016
My video card is properly cooled by a Zalman VF700-Cu LED, and it works fine. But recently I added a TV Tuner and another HDTV tuner, so they're generating more heat and since the X800 XL is right next to them, it's temps are slightly higher (5 degrees celsius). Would the Zalman FB123 help bring the temps down a bit?
BTW, I have a TT Big Typhoon so there's no use to put that fan towards the CPU, so I'm going to use that one on the graphics card, and I have a spare 92mm for the TV/HDTV tuner, should that be fine?
I can get it for $5.
Thanks

Either that or you could just get a PCI slot exhaust blower. THAT should bring your temps right down, assuming you have a spare PCI slot to put the thing in. My VGA Silencer Rev.3 modded to be a system blower does it's job quite nicely, brought GPU temps a good...5-10*C?

I already have one though, and it's working great. This is the only thing that would help my TV tuners though, and I wanted to know if it would help. If I do get this, one 92mm fan will be for the X800XL (it's 39CFM) and the other 92mm fan will be on the TV tuners.
I just want to know if it'll bring it down a bit, and it's only $5.

K...thanks then. I can find $5 on the floor somewhere anyway, so it's not like it's gonna put a dent in my wallet.

where are you getting this for 5 bux? that is actually what i have been needing for sli. slot1 card temps are about 5-7 degrees warmer then slot2. i paced a temp 80mm on top to push some additional air and on idle brings both slots to the same temp. this is a great find...

Well...do you have a Fry's Electronics by you? Ours has has it for $7.99 but my Uncle works there, so $2 off. My card was actually fine, around 33-35 idle and 50-55 load, but since I got my TV and HDTV tuners, it's been 39-43 idle and 59-61 load. I guess those two cards generate a lot of heat, especially the HDTV one. I'm going to get it so that one 92mm fan will be blowing on the tuners, and one of them on the graphics card, so hopefully cooler TV/HDTV tuners give less heat to the graphics and cooler graphics well...cooler graphics. The 92mm fan that I have here for is 80 CFM, yes 80. I think it's gonna be loud though, but I use a headset so I probably can't hear it.

Fry's Electronics, not normal Fry's.
Go to www.outpost.com
That's their online store,,it shows everything the have. Just search fans and it's on the 2nd page.
You'll probably get it before me (I'm getting it Sunday) so tell me how it goes.
