right now i have 2x bfg 6600 gt/oc's. what single pci-e card would be the same or more power and for a good price.links would help.
the reason i want a single card is that i have no room to put my audigy 2 zs in anywhere, so i need the room.

For a rough guess, I believe the 7600 GT would compete with SLI 6600's. Im not sure becuse im at school at the moment and I have to leave for next class now. :p

Hey newmodder take a look at this post http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=12298
That should help you out.
Remember SLI gives about a 30 percent performance increase these days (opposed to the 10 percent they used to give).
So I would say a 6800GS would perform close to yoru SLI, but maybe less effective.
I have the same motherboard as you and I was wondering if you had something else in a PCI slot since you do get two of them.
Why not just use the very bottom one with both cards in?
