What are the diffs between these two cards exactly? I had to rma my x850xtpe and now all newegg has for agp is the x850xt. I was wondering if i would be ok with the xt. I know the clocks are slightly lower on the xt but i figured i could just modify the clocks a little higher to xtpe speeds. Would this be equivalent to the xtpe or is there something i am missing that is diff between the 2?

Um I think the voltages are different, since I cant achieve what XT PE's can overclock to, I have a VisionTek X850 XT PCI-E and I can go to about 550/610 MAX STABLE... any higher is no no... but I think im just gonna run it at 540/590 (XT PE speeds) and be happy

No difference in principal. The same PCB, the same core, sometimes the XT's could be non VIVO. While X850XT PE's are 100% with VIVO. Usually XT's and XT PE's have 1.6ns memory (some XT's could be equiped also with 2.0ns especially the non VIVO's), also the core voltages are equal for XT and XT PE.

Just the overclocking potencial probably will be different. XT PE must work with 540/590MHz (and most probably could be OC to 565-575 on the core and if you are lucky the memory could go 600-610MHz or more), the normal XT probably will be limited not by the core but by the memory which will be able on "only" 570-580MHz without Vmod. Of course it is possible to obtain card which can reach and overpass your expectation and the XT PE specifications. In such case you can just flash your card with XT PE BIOS and to obtain brand new X850XT PE ;) .
