Hi,
I have a Sapphire 9600SE that the ATITool reports as having a 128bit memory interface, can I take a stock ATI bios and flash it to this card ?
Which one would be best, the 9600np or 9600 Pro ?
Thanks

Before flashing, make sure the card is 100% stable with the core and ram overclocked at the speed of the bios you wish to flash to. Most 9600SE have crappy passive heatsinks, before flashing you should definitely get a new cooler. Also read and re-read all the tutorials so you dont mess up.

A new cooler isnt necessare for that junk. It never gets hot.

RV350 do get hot, especially with a passive cooler. My RV350 is hot with a 5000 RPM copper active cooler and AS5.
