Hi all!
I was just wondering whether it is possible to use the "flash sapphire x800 gto agp" program on my gecube card. The chip type is the same (430), but the gonfig substrate fuses show as 0xffffff9e, not f9f, so will this make a difference when i try to flash?
Any help with this and overclocking this card would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Louisjo.

dear mmx,
thanks for the reply, it is a shame.
At the moment, ati tool allows only a small overclock of 420/369, which adds about 300 points to my 3dmark2003 score,(9025 points), with the following adjustments in my bios:
agp arpature set at 128mb.
no extra voltage.
My specs are: asrock 939sata2 board
1gb ocz platinum ddr400
gecube x800gto 128mb agp
amd64 3200xp o/c to 2.2ghz (venice core)
ata western digi 80gb 2mb cache h/d
evo33 cooler.
Should i be happy with that score, or should i try to o/c my memory etc. On stock settings, the score is 8878. I'm not sure whether it is worth overclocking for such small gains, or whether i should upgrade to a sata drive. Any pointers??
Cheers,
Louisjo:confused:
The card has the r430 gpu and it is a bad overclocker, my x800xl has it to and i can oc-it to 440/560. Try to run 3dmark05 you must score around 4500
PS. your memory wont oc higher than 369?

I'll try running 3dmark2005 and get back to you.

hi mmx,
Ran 3dmark 2005 at 420/369 and got 3823, then 420/375 and got 3884.
I then oc to 425/380 and it froze. My computer reset and did the usual "serious error recover from" message.
I will try lowering the core to 420 and keep the memory at 380.
Cheers,
Louisjo.
