View Full Version : whats the best x1300 aftermarket cooler

ive been looking around for after market coolers for the x1300 and i cant seem to find any so i have rigged it up with an expansion slot fan and a 60mm fan on top of it and it has the stock fan that seems to do nothing any ideas please help me out and i wont go liquid cooling just yet i will on my next pc thanks2715 this is it what it looks like i have already cut out the middle of the plastic for the expansion slot fan to pull as much hot air off the stock fan just blows on the the card

A little overkill for a x1300 if you ask me. Get a v700-ALCU good value and good performance.

Ordinarilly I'd agree with you, but I can't be too sure about X1300 compatibility. So just get a VF900Cu and overclock like crazy :p. I think that the Evercool Turbo 2 is compatible with the X1300 series, but I can't seem to find it. I'll edit later if I do find it.

I would very much agree with this. If you get this heatsink, you can also vmod the card to around 1.35VGPU, and probably hit around 700MHz core. Your mem should be able to hit 450MHz with 2.2Vmem.
