I run SysTool Build 662 on Startup and leave it in my system tray for temperature monitoring. My system specs are:
Athlon64 3000+ Venice
ASRock 939Dual-SATA2
AOpen Aeolus Geforce 6800GT
2GB (2x1) OCZ Platinum PC3200
running Windows XP Home SP2
Allowing SysTool to run on startup and place itself in the tray does not cause any problems. After opening SysTool and viewing the 'Hardware Monitoring' tab (shows the graphs of CPU temp, etc), when minimized to system tray causes screen to flicker every 10-20 seconds when other applications are in focus.
Hardware Monitor -> Settings:
Motherboard: ASRock 939Dual-SATA2
Plugins Used: CPULoad.dll v1.0, LM78.dll v1.23, Memory.dll v1.0, NVSensors.dll v1.01
Memory Timings: 2-3-2-5
This box is overclocked and runs stable.
Clock Generator: ICS952505
CPU Multiplier: 9.0 x, FSB: 256.01 MHz, CPU Clock: 2304 MHz
Memory Ratio: CPU/11, Memory Clock: 209.46 MHz
Selected Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Series GPU
Current Core Clock: 410 MHz, Current Memory Clock: 549 MHz
