I know this game is old as hell but it is still fun to play, especally with mods that can be used in the game. Does anyone still play the classic Doom games? It would be nice to see new people playing online. :)

No, all the Dooms series are too much turn corner, shoot, turn corner, shoot. I prefere games like Half Life where it can be more tactical.

I play DOOM with the port called Skulltag (http://www.skulltag.com). This supports all the Doom games except Doom 3 and it has different modes of play like Domination, CTF, Team DM, 1 on 1 (aka: Duels) and many others. Also there are 4 new guns that Skulltag has: The BFG10k, Minigun, Railgun and the Grenade Launcher. In the Skulltag Zip file you will see a program called IDESE. This is the program used to connect to Skulltag servers and play online.

How do you get WADs with getwads? I'm trying to get them but I can't find any and can't figure out how to work getwad

Same here. It get's too repetitive for me. I like Day of Defeat: Source, fun as hell.

IDESE has getwad built-in. If you dont have the wad and you join that server, it will say that you dont have the wads and suggests searching for it via getwad. Getwad runs and searches for the wad and after it is done, IDESE will launch the game.
