X800 Pro 128 MB DDR !!!!

Could somebody clear this out for me ?


I bought an Asus X800 Pro 256 MB DDR, but when I check my card settings every program I run tells me I only have 128 MB DDR ! How's that possible. Am I ripped off ?

X800 cards always have 256 mb, there are no 128 mb versions. But I already had a card with defective memory on it showing 32 instead of 64 mb, I killed the mem because i was electrostatic loaded and put my fingers on the card. The mem-chip was toasted :D
You have to bring your card back to where you bought it: this is a card defect, you can't change memory size in bios/os or something else. Good luck with rma

do you have another video card as primary vga card?
