smaller thinner and basically the same hardware inside. i would definatly have to say i would rather play my gbc anyday over one of those peices of shit though...too bad my girlfriend is getting a lite today and wants me to play it with her...erg

Its just a DS.... thats smaller. And I thought the original DS was uncomfortable to hold... this will be much worse.

I hate when Nintendo does this stuff. Gameboy Light (pocket with backlight built in), Gameboy Advance SP, gameboy advance Micro, and now the Nintendo DS Lite. It makes the guys that get the original thing feel out-of-date but there's really no difference except size. Nintendo should get the design right the FIRST time, and stop this dumbass "maybe a little smaller will boost sales, and people will have to buy the exact same hardware all over again to stay up-to-date, and we don't even have to put any effort in the power aspect, PERFECT" thing.

I had a regular GBA until about a year ago. It fit very nicely into my hands, better than any other gameboy. If it had a backlight, it would have been the perfect portable game system, ever.

That's the one reason I hated my GBA. You could hardly see the screen sometimes and the light had to be near perfect.
