Possible Xbox 360 price cut for Christmas

A source close to Microsoft has revealed, that the company is working on reducing cost on the Xbox 360. Engineers are working hard to redesign the chips supplied by ATI and IBM to do so. This is nothing special, as the original Xbox went through quite a few revisions. The great part of this rumor is the following: The Premium Xbox 360 will cost around £220 (down from £279) and the Core would cost less than £200. It is still a long way 'till Christmas, so only time will tell
