Damn, if you could do the memory for like 105 with shipping I might be able to take it :(

Would you swap that memory for some lovely TCCD? :D would save me selling my TCCD then tracking down some lovely BH\UTT sticks :) TCCD I ave laying about does up to DDR650, well thats as far as I bothered testing anyway. and at its rated DDR600 I changed timings from 3-4-4-8 2T to 2.5-3-3-8 2T np at all. Obviously tho what u can get out of these sticks will depend on factors like how good your CPU memory controller is, you may well get better timings than I tried.

erm, what is TCCD <G> Not sure I have that anyways. Oh well. What Im looking for is about 3 GBs of memory to buy here next week. Im looking at the Corsair XMS series but I cant seem to find a matching 2gb kit and 1gb kit. Im scared to buy both kits with different timings or what not.

TCCD is the ultimate high FSB memory ;) Dont be fooled by the other ICs out there with similar names like TCC5 or TCCC, TCCD is THE best high FSB IC there is, and probably ever will be for some time.

Ketxxx, unfortunately I had TCCD in my board - it's not compatible. It's great memory in the right board. Also I'm being forced to switch to DDR2 now, so it wouldn't do me much good. :(

Tigers are looking awesome this year. Great influx of talent (dont let the NY Times story fool you, the knaves) I think we will be pretty hot this year, but an undefeated season is out of the question. Yeah, USC lost alot of good talent at this years draft, they will be half as good if that. (Note, I dont like USC, they play in a conference with no competition, but I give credit where credit is do and the last two USC teams were kick ass).

Unfortunately, I had to take my dog to the vet for her eye troubles, so I wont be able to do the memory now. Sorry about that. Hollar back at me sometime though.

(Note, I dont like USC, they play in a conference with no competition, but I give credit where credit is do and the last two USC teams were kick ass).Last year had some truly mediocre teams... Washington and Arizona, for example, but it also had some standouts. PAC-10 gets a ton of flac for that myth, because historically there was some truth to it, but now it is totally not true. We had 4 teams in the top 25 last year, despite all the bias against our league. ASU should have been a decent contender, but they kept choking. In contrast the BIG 12 was a joke, ACC was middling except for VA Tech, BIG 10 had some strong teams, SEC had some standout teams, but then you had Vanderbilt that was going around giving most of the league a tough time and a fluky Alabama team that escaped by the skin of their teeth seemingly every week.

Personally, I think the only standout teams last year were Texas and ‘SC and that game was played out and we lost. I was really not expecting them to do as well as they did, because they lost so much defensively and that ended up being their biggest weakness. (No one calling a freaking time out in the last few minutes, didn’t help…! )

But we’ll see what happens next year. My sis went to Auburn so I won’t be surprised to find myself rooting more for the Tigers this year. ;)

Your sister is a great and wonderful woman. I loved that BCS game and so glad Texas won. What gets me now is Reggie Bush this and Reggie Bush that with NO. He doesnt deserve the money of a 1st round pick. NO has a great Running back in Deuce McCallister. If anyones watched the SEC for the past 7 years, you know who he is. He is awesome. Now they have a new back who is kick ass (Bush) coming in. Id love to be a coach with that problem :)=

Isn't BH-5 better than TCCD? But it's hard to get BH-5 now...

I thought Ket said it was the end all be all of memory. Hell, even Anandtech and Toms hardware reviewed memory based on winstone and TCCD and said it was the shiznet.

TCCD is great for looser timings, and higher FSB at lower voltages..

BH-5 is good for tight timings, at pretty high FSB(not quite as much as TCCD), but takes a LOT of voltage.

BH-5 > TCCD IMO.
