i want to go try out the 64-bit version of windows xp but the only thing thats stoping me is drivers for my wireless adaptor (linksys wirless g wusb54). i try to look for 64 bit drivers but couldn't find one. so im asking if there is another wireless adaptor that has 64-bit drivers?

If you get the Belkin F5D7000 you should be able to use these (http://www.ralinktech.com/supp-1.htm) drivers from Ralink (they manufacture the chip used on the Belkin card) and that ought to work. Their 32bit drivers are better than Belkin's ones anyway and it is a very good card.

which version (i.e. chipset) have u got? i think there are 64 bit drivers for prism. when i got x64 i was worried about driver availability but so far everything works, even obscure stuff turns out to have 64 bit drivers somewhere. i made a dual boot with 32 bit xp but hardly ever use it

I have the RT2500 chipset and the Ralink drivers are good. I'm not sure if you mean a different version number though, the only think I know is it is model number F5D7000 with the RT2500. Hope this helps, and I'm suprised Linksys don't have 64bit driver support by now.
