So i bought a new mobo with Sata and SataII connectors. (Check specs if you need.) This is my question: If i buy SataII hard disk am i able to install Windows there? I am buying _only_ SataII hard disk and leaving Sata1 blank. Do those two connectors work _completedly_ as individual? Meaning that i dont need Sata1 hard disk before i plug SataII?
I just need to verify this. Thank you.

as long as you set sata as idl and not raid in your bios then you should be okay

you can plug in a s-ata 2 or s-ata drive no matter but you have to have the driver for your windows installation otherwise u wont see the drive in windows setup

I meant this: These are the SATA connectors in my mobo
Connector: Sata1 ------------------- no hd
Connector: Sata2 ------------------- no hd
Connector: SataII ------------------- SataII hd, install Windows here.
Sorry, ive spend too much time without a break with this computer. I hope you understand my point. I do not want to buy SataII hd if i have to buy Sata1/2 hd first. I mean, ill be only using SataII slot only.
