i just a new x800 xl. http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=RX800XL-VT2D256E&class=vga
under product features, it apparantly comes with video in. there was no software bundled that would provide video in and the manual was not specific to the video in on this card, it was a quick start guide. So how do i do video in on this card? i'm pretty sure it goes through the svideo port. There is also this red box, seen in this picture http://www.pcstats.com/articleimages/200506/MSIRX800xl_all.jpg which i found out "a bright red breakout box with s-video and component outputs as well as composite and S-video inputs." is there some program from ati that will do video in? i've searched many of places, most forum posts have no replies on msi's forums.

well, its a VIVO card, that green box connectos to a connector on the card, now, with all the drivers installed, and ati software from the ati website specificly directed at vivo cards, you will find in the device manager that you have a video capture device configured somewhere, there are alot of generic video capture software around, choose one, when it asks you to configure video output, you select the video capture device you saw in the windows device manager, and thats it

i installed ati tv, but it sucks. right in the middle of my tv i'm watching, it says no signal. what the hell, theres a signal right behind that stupid box lol. Also, during video games, it lags. I push a button and it doesnt appear on the screen for like a 1/4 of a second. So are there any programs better than ati tv?
