is there a known way to crack this and trick microsoft into thinking your copy of windows is legit? I did the javascript addy thing and that took out the 15 minute warning of how i dont have a legit copy. i then tried using a cracked legit dll file and that didnt work, i guess i could just erase it but weres the fun in that huh? me->:nutkick: <-microsoft
by the way my copy of windows xp pro IS LEGIT <no kidding> im just one of the many who got shafted and microsoft thinks is stealing

yeah there is a way to get rid of it, you have to replace the current LegitCheckControl.dll with the one that came with the most recent windows update. also theres a program that will delete the WGA that is Legal i use all the time. its in my attachments. now the LegitCheckControl.dll is not legal so you search your favorite torrent site and download it. hope that helps.

simple
1. Close any Internet Explorer Windows (Or windows update)
2. Goto Windows\System32
3. Replace LegitCheckControll.dll with the included one.
4. Update as normal!

ok so i got rid of the genuine advantage but the crack doesnt actually work! it dosent actually trick microsoft into thinking the copy is legit. i actually just ended up erasing it but the main reason for getting rid of it is to use Windows Media Player 11, is there a way to get past the whole genuine advantage check on the installer?

i have no problems doing a windows update, i d/l my version of windows from a torrent site and it doesnt even ask for a serial key when installing windows its got 95% of the updates included on the disk LMFAO :D
