See subject-line/title above, & URL's below:

I found a couple of these online over time, & they may be of interest to you (as a reference @ the very least).

Each contains several benchmarks types & tests in each to compare, are simple to use, & VERY COMPREHENSIVE (in the # of disks tested & compared AND variations of tests used):

Tom's Hardware Pages "interactive" disk benchmarks comparisons results page:

http://www23.tomshardware.com/storage.html?modelx=33&model1=280&model2=138&chart=33

&

Storage Review's "interactive" DiskDrive leaderboard:

:)

* Disks aren't usually a BIG "topic of discussion" here (well, not as big as CPU &/or Vidcards @ least, imo), but still... these are neat, imo @ least!

APK

P.S.-> Enjoy, & hope you find them useful... apk

* I, for one, find them useful as references... & just for general curiousity satisfaction!

well, use as referance, but take them with a grain of salt, they usualy dont take in to account variation in chipset performance or manufacturers pcb design in to account, so milage might varie,

you wouldnt belive that things affect hard drive speeds,

Excellent set of points, I concede 110%...

:)

* "I stand corrected" or rather, imcomplete in my data/assumptions!

Greatest point of all, & I do believe (and am aware of it)... apk
