See subject-line/title above, & the url below:

FireFox day July 15th 2006: Become a Friend of Firefox!

http://www.worldfirefoxday.com/en/index.php

"If you can convince just one person to switch to Firefox before September 15th, you'll both be immortalized in Firefox 2.0's source code"

:)

* Pretty neat!

I helped them identify & debug a problem a couple years back @ another forum (totally self-built forums engine/homemade code by Philipp @ NTCompatible.com) & they wrote me back, THAT DAY no less, & came to visit + debug the problem w/ us on the forums there...

(Talk about "personable & fast customer service!" It impressed me to NO end in fact!)

I thought it was WAY cool of them...

NOW, however, admittedly? I tend to use Opera 9.01 more, but either is a decent browser (better than IE6 is @ least).

(Ah, memories...)

APK

P.S.=> This ought to "go over big" here imo, many firefox users... the majority here in fact, which Jimmy 2004 proved to me via a POLL he took! apk

You trully know something about everything.

Ah, not really... not when compared w/ some folks out there & in certain areas of specialization in this WIDE & very VARIED field!

(Plus? I do try nowadays to "have a life" & all that (away from computers that is)).

:)

* It's just "time-served" in this field is all!

(That alone will make you an "ecclectic man for all seasons" on many levels in this field, & all that b.s.!)

APK

P.S.=> Ever see the film "Groundhog Day" w/ Bill Murray? Pretty much makes the point... I am OLD! lol... apk

You could always invite yourself and get your name on it twice!

You could always invite yourself and get your name on it twice!

Heh, maybe...

Mine should be in it already quite possibly, because of what is noted above & the bugfix, but not sure & I never checked/asked (& don't really care)!

:)

APK

P.S.=> Still, if folks are "fans" of this software & have supported it? They ought to get their shot @ it imo... why not! apk

I would do it but I haven't even tried the Firefox 2 Beta so I don't really think I should. Firefox is really evolving quickly now.
