What does the hertz do? is the higher the better?

you should puth it the higher your monitor can, less than 75 is bad to your eyes and give you headaches

hertz is a frecuency/time mesurment unit, a single hertz is 1 cycle on a transmision wave..

to make things simpler, refresh rate on the monitor, 75hz means it refreshes 75 times a sec
