Hi again. I'm looking for a 92mm fan and heatsink for a 775 socket. Just somthing quiet and effective for around 20$. A blue LED touch would be nice, but not needed .
thx for the help! :rockout:

It cost more than what you ask for. But if you are going for an aftermaket cooler i recomend spending abit more. If not there will be not much performance gain. No point in paying extra and have little or no performance gain. If so better stick with the stock cooler. The zalman coolers has been around for sometime. Had some good reviews and are quite too.
Wolud have bought them if the can fit socket AM2 but they dont.

Personally, i really like zalman cpu coolers. i have one of the cnps7000 alcu models, works like a charm with arctic silver 5. this is on my x2.
problem is, i don't think zalman makes 775 coolers for less than $30.
if you have the cash, i'd look at this one

costs quite a bit, but extremely effective.

nah Zalmans are failures, iv owned many. Iv REALLY liked my Arctic Freezer 7 Pro which I got at 23 bux shipped at the time,

16.36 now
This is a very high quality heatsink and easy to install, performance wise its EXTREMELY close to a Thermaltake Typhoon (45-50 dollars) and its highly recommended for its bang for the buck, so unless you're going to buy a typhoon, I would get an Arctic Freezer 7 Pro

I found a pretty complete review of the Katana 775 with a comparison to stock temps.

You have to scroll down the page to see the review and the next pages.

or try this one instead..this is the one I have on my 3.0E S478 (fits 775 too)

It's very big, so If you have a small case, it won't fit but if you have a normal size ATX, it will be fine.. Combined to a 120mm fan it is a crazy cooler

Oh, I didn't know it mounted like that :wtf:. I have a small case and that won't fit lolz. Is there any cooler that mounts regularly for 20-30$?
