For AMD's bid of 5.4 billion US to buy out ATI Technology, it would cost a little more for Intel to buy Nvidia - 10 billion US to give you a figure. Although Intel is such a huge company, and could do this, it is very unlikely to happen due to the size of both companies. Intel would end up with a shared market of over 50% and would be labeled a "monopoly threat" to the market.

That would be something to see: All the while? ATI gains huge by it no doubt... one side, vs. the other @ auction basically!

and get raped by the US government in anti-trust laws, with AMD's suit instantly going in their favor, good bye intel.... Yes, sure is a good idea! :rolleyes:
