With recent reports on how far the dollar is falling, I now think that the USA will achieve third world country status faster than I thought.

Im betting 2047 :D

Which European country would be best to move to? UK, Germany?

Belgium, we got the best social security policy in the world.
The best quality food and an economic growth instead of an decrease
like almost all other nations. The center of Europe. AND it's small(11million people),
so we will never get hit by terrorism. (terrorism will be 1 of the major shitthings of the 21Century, like predicted years ago) Also, almost all belgians (North part) know dutch(duh), english! and french, some also german.

London is also a damn nice city, and THE center of the world in a lot of things.
But if you want to be@ the place where the big things will happen, then go to asia.
(Not Japan thou, South Korea or so)

USA is already down, the democrats know that, and wanted to work on that (EU)
But now that Bush guy will fuck it up so it won't get fine again. I mean, that guy is investings billions in a nucluar weapon that can reach nucluar shelters....if it was only that 1 thing:(

My guess is 2025, and that is optimistic.
The land of the free will be the land of the damned.

Yeah I want to get out of here before I get drafted into some stupid war.

I get out of high school when bush's second term is over so hopefully there wont be a draft.

Also, how is the tech industry across europe, or where it it best?

Not bad at all, but like I said, South-Korea is doing much better.

I suppose you could come here to study some further, since Belgium is the cheapest land to study in. Around 1000euro will cover all your expenses (books etc,...)
"Leuven" wouldn't be a bad place, since it is the most(not biggest) multi-cultural city in the world. (consist almost only out of students, 30.000 of them)
And there are 3 schools(now connected) and 1 uni. There are also courses which are given totally in english (like industrial engeniering)

next sites are in english

http://www.groept.be/index2_en.htm

http://www.kuleuven.ac.be/english/ (uni)

Chances are that if you work a bit, you'll get through that "khleuven"
without much difficulty.

Thanks!
If I move to europe I will first learn the native language if the country I go to.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHH (scared yell)

I was reading one of the schools's introduction PDF file, and it has this ad for pizza hut AND pepsi. So much for new food chains :(

Yeah, South Korea would be a nice place to move nowadays, more so with their friendly neighbors at the north and their nuclear warheads, and the fact that the Korean war status never really ended :p :D

i'm going with the mayans and saying 2014. the mayans predicted their own downfall nearly to the year, so why not ours? well, they said end of the world, but its close. end of the known world, more accurately.
Definitely sweden. sweden owns, and i'm 1/4 swedish. that or luxembourg, cause im 1/4 luxembourg-ish. that or taiwan cause taiwan is just awesome.

Yeah, but China is just itching to retake Taiwan, I would hate to be there when that happened.

USA is already down, the democrats know that, and wanted to work on that (EU)

Yes, you're right... I won't deny that (democrat here).

Makes me F'ing sick, in case you guys hadn't noted that in SOME of my posts/threads.

This used to be the GREATEST PLACE ON EARTH, & still is... but, for how long?

I figure it this way - our a-hole 'baby boomers' (gen right before mine) have been screwing everyone else on the planet SO HARD up the wazoo, it's time we got ours... unfortunately, that means my generation (X) pays for it.

We didn't cause it, but we'll pay out for it - "the sins of the father, visited upon his children" & all that...

The greatest criminals in the world nowadays? TRULY are in control... & they're NOT in prisons either.

Plus, it's NOT really the politicians in control... it's BIG money! The man behind the curtain... & more dangerous than presidents imo @ least? Are guys that run other sectors of gov't. for 20++ years straight... the J. Edgar Hoovers out there, absolute power, corrupting absolutely. He is (was) a PRIME example of this.

But now that Bush guy will fuck it up so it won't get fine again. I mean, that guy is investings billions in a nucluar weapon that can reach nucluar shelters....if it was only that 1 thing:(

He is incredible... either one of the most foolish/stupid men I have ever seen attain such public stature/position (considering his failures & background - fully funded by "Daddy" all the way - but, that's the world for ya!)

Either he is the stupidest president I have EVER seen, or the smartest (playing "dumb" but those are the kind you NEVER see coming or expect it from).

Now, HOW he got into office? Subject to a LOT of questions, on BOTH of his terms no less... too much controversy/scandal.

My guess is 2025, and that is optimistic.
The land of the free will be the land of the damned.

I hope not... I truly don't, but it IS looking that way.

:(

That's USA Today, economically? Not even REMOTELY as good as it was say, 7-8 years ago (good for me though, but I look around & see pals of mine outta work, no income, & no prospects in sight either, @ least locally where I live currently for now (a very "middle-America" type of town no less))...

Sorry for being so "grim" guys, but I imagine many others from other nations feel the same about us... just remember: It's NOT all of us who are massive crooks & greedy bastards.

BELIEVE YOU ME: Not all of us are dumb asses/dorks etc. try to remember that... & remember another thing:

WE ARE ALL OF YOU, from the other nations planet-wide... a true "sociological experiment" that proves mankind CAN live & work together, & maybe? One day we all will... who knows?

APK

P.S.=> I love my country... you know? BUT, it sort of bugs me when I see that others are observing her, & making the statements they have (and I have myself @ times too, but not w/out reason, & many of you made valid points that were negative about my nation/tribe lately also).

E.G.-> The USA "going to war in IRAQ", very DUMB, & very deceitful means were used to get "the go ahead" on it as well, in the "we got bad data from the CIA" b.s., & seeing military commanders quitting the service & FINALLY, speaking out against that & other fallacies used to manipulate the public (here in the states)...

First off, nobody EVER really wins a fight imo... secondly, starting up fights is just NOT "Good Business" & especially not for the young fighting it, while OLD MEN talk!

I mean, like in our ScienceMark 2.0 thread - I did a "shortcut" way of doing the averages of the forums testers (averaging averages by CPU type groups) - I questioned it & analyzed it, & found I WAS IN ERROR doing it that way - yes, took more work on my end, but found out my analysis was WRONG!

Don't the folks that run our country do the same when presented information, especially when lives ride on it?? That is WHEN you MUST test like hell & be so cocksure, that you cannot be wrong imo @ least!

After all, all I tested was some benchmarks data... not data that could adversely affect lives of others...

Anyhow, I was blasting thru the "MOST VIEWED THREADS" in this section & this one stuck out... so, had to reply!

Anyhow/anyways - back to OASIS "Stop Crying your Heart out" (great tune)... apk

LOL, reminds me of "RUSH 2112" - one of the things in my life, that "inspired me" to get into computing!

:)

("The Priests of the Temples of Syrinx" tune in fact did it the most... & that album's largely about the decline of a civilization & its post aftermath outcome)

APK

P.S.=> I'm sorry if you guys didn't like what I wrote above, but, I'm living in it (reminds me of watching flowers wilt in a way, or a beautiful chick getting fat or just beat, lol): If you didn't & I somehow offended your sensibilities, it was not my intent first of all...

Well, hey... go easy on me now - I ask for a reason:

See, I have to deal w/ George Bush & Darth Cheney's "RULE" for years to come still & you don't if you're not a native here: BONUS FOR YOU, look @ the "bright side" here... those men are NOT doing their job properly, & that is my MAIN beef. I don't see economic prosperity & not like it used to be, more balanced for ALL, not just the few.

Ordinarily I wouldn't complain but economics ARE the prime gauge imo, of a nation's health & that's DOWN during BUSH's presidency... down from where it was.

(So please - give me a break, ok? If I don't need ithat break now, I will by the end of it probably: Because I don't see my nation doing "the right thing" which is mind your manners, keep your concentration on INTERNAL prosperity, not war-mongering.)

LOL! apk
