Ok i was wondering if anyone else had this problem...when i move in bf2 say forward and then take my finger of the w button my player will still keep moving forward and nothing i can do will make him stop...i just have to sit and wait for a few seconds till i get control of him back, happens when i move any direction and even when i go to use the scope, this doesnt happen all the time but its a pain in the ass when u a having a firefight with enemy and it happens, oh and it means i cant shoot either....do i have to reinstall the game or is it hardware related

thanks

I was thinking I was crazy,...but I also have the exact same problem.Like the keys are sticking!
I know it cost me a few deaths in BF2 before I figured it out.
All the other overclocking utilitys I have used work without the "sticky-key" deal.
Overclocker and CCC work but I really miss the ATI TOOL features.
I used Tool on my x850xt and had no problems. But since my upgrade to ASUS A8R-32 MVP and ATI X1900XTX,...I can't seem to get ATI TOOL to work good.
If anyone can help us out,it would be great.

i have done windows files checkdisk, system files error check with windows CD, rebooted, still nothing.
this problem happens even in SINGLE PLAYER mode.
its as if the game is reacting to slow to the command, as if buffered, if i press too many buttons a faint
beeping can be heard while pressing buttons until game catches up with all the input.
tried to system restore and restore FAILED reason unknown.
problem seemed to start after installed new ATI driver 28-7, 2 days ago.
the only thing left to try is re-install BF2.
Half life 2, Doom 3 working fine.
BF2 version patched to 1.3, months ago.

Please Help

Do you have ATiTool installed with temperature monitoring on?

That has been known to cause issues:

It sounds like some really bad hardware lag to me.
