well i ordered a powercolor 9800 se 256bit yada yada in hopes of moddin it into the pro. i got sent a pwrclr 9600xt 256mb card. which is better then a 9800se but not as good as what the se could turn into. do u guys think i should keep it or send it back an try again??

If you ordered and paid for a 9800SE and got a 9600XT, you should return it and tell the dealer to replace the card on their expense, besides, a 9800SE flashed to a Pro will give you about 75% more performance than the 9600XT

what other brands of ati based cards r good for softmods? ive never got a saphire to work an power color was about 60 - 40 split... any recomendations?
