my new 3800+x2 will only overclock stable to 2.5ghz because my motherboard voltage is limited to 1.40 and that is with the timming on my ram loosened. O well thats what I get for buying a cheap motherboard. Still 2.5ghz isn't too bad. :D

2.5GHZ is pretty good, isn't 1.4 the stock voltage?

There Is a fairly easy Volt mod for the Dual SATA board that'll give you 1.55 max voltage.
If your getting 2.5 at 1.4 then you may get 2.7+ with the 1.55 volt mod.

ASRock Dual SATA 939 Volt mod (http://www.ocworkbench.com/2005/asrock/reviews/939dual-sata2/vcoremodguide2.htm)

Read all about it...and then read It again....make sure you know what your doing before you do It........It's the easiest Vcore mod to get the most out of this board....but If your Unsure....then don't do it.

Hope it helps. :)

Some of the X2 3800's run 1.4 stock and some run 1.35....I've Installed 5 and 2 were 1.35 and 3 were 1.4.
