hey, i would love to have my car on pimp my ride for one reason: stripping it and selling it! with a few notable exceptions, they take a crappy car with a crappy engine and turn it into a crappy car witha crappy engine and an extra 1000lbs (450kg) of shit to make it even worse!

They now have an attractive piece of shit (except for the vw thing, for example, where they only kept the frame! new engine and tranny! woot woot!)

I don't know the uk version, but that's my $.02 on this subject.
