Sims 2 problem [Archive] - techPowerUp! Forums

Hi
my cousin when playing Sims 2 with the expansion for more acessorys after 10min. of game the monitor keeps on but it like it isn't connected to the GFX card and there is no image, the mouse and keyboard still work, so i'm wondering wich is the problem???

System specs:
P4 2.4GHZ
Shiity mobo
512mb ram
Ati Radeon 9100 128mb

i think it's the GFX card, any ideas?

It's running from the original cd the card has a cooler like the x700 with a fan, the PSU i didn't check, but i will check, for that system he doens't need a very good PSU, also trying putting a 80mm fan on the case to see if the problem is solved

You don't wanna play that anyway...EA released a statement a while back telling the public that Sims 2 corrupts computers.

I don't play it anymore, i only make house's in that game anyway, where is that statement?
