There is 99% percent chance of you not being able too, but for kicks what is your card?

probably not any worth doing. You can always try voltmoding it, there should be some articles on how to do it with that card. They overclock very well, but since they're only 4 pixel pipelines, you don't gain much.

Volt mods and upgraded heatsink.

Thats it. ;)

its a 4 series card, nVidia have moved to the 7 series now, so that must tell you something about your card.

your real choices are upgrade or dont upgrade, Volt mods and upgraded heatsink are only gonna increase the FPS, not the quality of the graphics

I say upgrade, but not yet. With Vista almost upon us it might be wise to wait for a G80 or an R600. However in your case, if you're stuck with AGP, there's no telling if those will be compatible on your system.

I'm doubting they will, but the release of such cards should reduce lower end AGP card prices a bit. :)

IMO, just upgrade to pcie.. cpu+mobo+video if you have to. Well worth it.

They should've stayed with AGP a little longer IMO...the 7950GX2 only takes up X6 bandwidth, and AGP has X8...but PCI Express doesn't hurt.

They're supposed to be previewing/demonstarting it 1q07, so probably spring 07.

Problem is, keeping a CPU in there thats capable of pushing that kinda power to the gpu...

Anyways, pci-e 6x bandwidth is NOT the same as agp 6x bandwidth.

66mhz bus Vs 133mhz bus iirc.

SLI will **NOT** work on an AGP board either, as ir requires multiple IRQ's. AGP is only capable of offering 1.
