Hi everyone,

I have a little problem and need advise my m8 pointed me here.

I sold a sapphire x800xt plat on ebay this orginally had the fan replaced by sapphire.

The guy that bought the card installed ATI tool and generally mucked around with the settings he then stated that the card was showing hot temps , I then offered him a full refund straight away and he never got back to me. Then 5 weeks later he files for PP dispute after he pratically fries the card.

Paypal agree to this without even hearing my side of the story , I have all e-mails where he said he used ATI tool etc , and also where he was gonna put a new fan on the card.
And he also admitted that his last card he fried.

The card that had the fan replaced was working perfectly before he got it , and he even admitted that the card was working ok and now it looks like i'm going to get a card back usless.

Anyone have any advise or could point me in the right direction on what I can do as this is totally unfair.

Send Paypal the emails he sent where he admits he used overclocking. Overclocking is not covered by the guarantee so he cannot refund in any way. Also it is best to try and contact a manager or some sort of Paypal company by phone. Talk to someone directly/personally, emails don't work for this kind of stuff.
