HIS X1800GTO Platinum model can be unlocked to 16 pipelines?
Is there any connection between the only 5 mosfets instead of 6
(blackboxes) ?

i really wonder the same thing about his and sapphire.Can sapphire x1800gto be modded to xl with 16 pipelines?

To answer your question are needed your GB_PIPE_SELECT values (they will be the only available with X1K series). http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=5367

You can't find out like that with the X1800 series, only the X800 series. Sapphires have very little chance of unlocking, HIS's are 100% to unlock. I have yet to see one that dosen't, so you have a very good chance.

As I told earlier only GB_PIPE_SELECT values. It is enough as indication. The rest of the story is well known ;) .
