I recently enabled HDD S.M.A.R.T. because I heard that you can find out your HDD's temps if you enable it. Well, I did, restarted the computer, and all these wierd numbers and letters appeared, and I couldn't boot into Windows. What could be the problem?

All I have is my (2) HDD, Keyboard, and Power Supply. That's it. And still not posting. I'm really pissed because all I did was turn on HDD SMART and then it wouldn't post.

Did that already, and even removed the battery. What if I only use one hard drive? Can I still re-build RAID 0?

I tried removing both, but I didn't unplug the power cables, just the SATA cables and still a no go.

Sorry for the late post. I have a LOT of HW right now, so I'll be back later ok. I'll probably work on this on the weekend when I have time.

Please keep posting if you can help me, I'll be reading from time to time.

last advice:
pull motherboard out of case plugin graphic and a ps2 keyboard
try bios booting

edit: did you pulled every power cable of from your mobo while resseting?

No I didn't. I just cleared CMOS. Then put it back. Then removed battery and cleared CMOS again. Then replaced battery. Unplugged both power connectors to HDD, then replaced. Then removed SATA cables, and replaced. I think it "might" work if I only tried 1 HDD. But if I do get into the BIOS, and disable S.M.A.R.T., can I still have RAID 0? It won't be destroyed because I'll be using 1 HDD for the moment?

if you set up your raid 0 with two disks, whatever is on them is gone with only one, because the data is stiped across the two.and you cant have raid 0 with one disc.
