First off let's give specs:
X2 3800+ Toledo
Asus A8V non-Deluxe with 0219 bios
AIW X800XL
120GB WD PATA
winPVR 150
Antec NeoHE 430W Power Supply
Now, for the question at hand. I tried almost everything (that i know) to try and push my core past 2.3ghz from 2.0ghz stock from stock voltage to 1.5v and nth works. I did this with the lowest RAM speed. Tried to lower multipliers, computer locks up at 8.5 and 9.5 b4 windows. My temps on load is 51 degrees which is fine. Jus last nite i was looking through the Asus forum and i read a post about A8V deluxe that mentioned similar problem w/ an X2 chip that can't get past 233mhz HTT. However, this was the only post with no replies.
This goes out to any A8V owners with an X2 finding similar problems and anyone else that would like to help out.
