I have a friend with this board and he's having some major problems OCing CPU.

It can run prime 24H no errors using default 200x11 1:1 5x. Also it can run 250x8 1:1 [not sure of HT multi].

CPU is Venice 3200, and RAM is Crucial Ballistix DDR500 3 4 4 8 2x1gb.

The problem is when trying to OC CPU the bios boots but it keeps rebooting over and over in a loop. This is when using 250x10 4x 1:1 1.65vcore. So it seems the CPU can take the OC but some error is occuring causing this looping boot.

Anyone any ideas, perhaps an option in bios? :banghead:

Well if I'm reading your results correctly:

200x11 = 2200 stable
250x8 = 2000 stable
250x10 = 2500 not stable

then I would guess that the CPU is not stable at 2500 even though you're using 1.65V. Also 1.65V is a lot of voltage hopefully you have water cooling.

Try 250x9 (2250) or maybe something like 235x10 (2350).

I'm assuming this if for socket 939? Are you sure it's an 11x multi? Because Athlon 64 3200+ only have 10x multi.

Agh it must be 10x 2.0ghz .. yea I thought it would do 2.5ghz np but maybe not.

Yea we'll see if it can do 2.4ghz ta..
