my motherboard which is a Gigabyte K8 Triton series GA-K8NS has some missing fan connectors, i noticed this for awhile and was wondering if anybody new how to solder new fan connectors or if anybody knows what im talking about? Like i only have a a system fan connector and a cpu fan connector but the place where the powerfan connector should be is missing or wasnt included with the mobo...anybody else had or has problems with this kinda situation?? i have old mobos which i can probably take out the fan connector and solder it but i dont know how to take out the fan connector on my old mobo, its like stuck on there.. thats another problem? anybody know how to solder if this is the case??? is it normal for a mobo to have missing connections??

There's missing "connections" on alot of things. The VGA monitor plugs have missing pins. If there are missing pins and the rest of the group looks fine it's probally not for a fan imo

Are you talking about empty solder pads? Yes. Normally those are used in previous board revisions, or more expensive versions.
Just use a 3 pin->Molex adaptor.. they arent expensive and wont risk your warranty. SOldering them onto the board may not even work because they may not have included the correct power management circuits for them.
