The onboard did look good and were adequate for internet surfing and using "Office" applications. But they are DX7 parts so beyond parlor games, are not really suitable. This will be the warden's mainstream computer. It is her fastest in spite of it being a 754, her others a 939 ASUS with onboard Nvidia 6150 Graphics, a 939 ASRock with a 9600XT, a EPoX Socket A with a 9500 Pro, and a DFI Socket A with a 9600 Pro. Her 939's are not OC'd so this one will be her best speed and Video card

I had said in a different thread (Now closed I think) that I would post the results so here they are.

And yes she does use all five!

Well the first one worked out so well I am building a second 754, it is fine for a good performing econocomputer. I seriously considered another Socket A, but I would need all used parts and I bid on a XP3200 and while I stopped at $60, it went for $190.. Crazy! This 754 is a better idea. will have a DVD burner, floppy card reader, 250 gig HHD, 9600XT and more.

Onboard graphics are fine on most computers that aren't used for gaming or designing, otherwise anything less than the 9600 series can't play much...

Well considering that he is using a plain 9200 on his P4 the 9600XT will treat him better and hey If it is to bad there are other AGP cards out there for him to buy.

Okay since his brother does not want to do any gaming, I will put the X800GTO and the Corsair 2 X 512 PC3200XL (2-2-2-5) in this one.
